Pharmacodynamics
Tilmicosin is a semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic for animals. Strong against mycoplasma, its antibacterial effect is similar to Tylosin. The sensitive Gram-positive bacteria are Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), pneumococcus, streptococcus, Bacillus anthracis, Erysipelas suis, Listeria Special bacteria, Clostridium putrefaction, Clostridium emphysema, etc. Sensitive gram-negative bacteria include Haemophilus, meningococcus, and Pasteurella. The activity of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella and Mycoplasma of livestock and poultry is stronger than Tylosin. 95% of Pasteurella hemolyticus strains are sensitive to this product.

Medicine interactions
1. It has the same target of action as other macrolides and lincosamides, so it should not be used at the same time.
2. Combined use with β-lactams shows antagonism.

Adverse reactions
